£30.00. Packed Weight 200g

A total of 37 of these vans were built to lots G202, G217, G255, G251 and G258 between about 1903 and 1908 for use mainly on shorter distance traffic. It is thought that at least some of these survived until after the second World War.

This kit represents the singular, Westinghouse braked example of D63. Built in 1904 it was effectively a prototype for the production run featured in the range as CC25A and probably survived into the late '40s.

Caledonian Railway Coat of Arms

"Wha dare meddle wi' me" - a loose translation of the Scottish motto (nemo me impune lacessit, litterly meaning "no-one provokes me with impunity") which was appropriated along with the Scottish coat of arms (without any sanction from the Lord Lyon, King of Arms) by the Caledonian Railway Co.
